BACKGROUND
One of Botswana’s most established plant hire companies, Rhino Plant hires a variety of JCB, Hydromek, Hitachi, D and A and other equipment for the construction, mining, and electrical industries.
The company was created in 1989 in response to the growing demand for excavation equipment and for smaller hires using TLBs. Since then, the company has thrived and actively participated in numerous projects throughout Botswana.
Regardless of how remote or specialized a customer’s needs may be, Rhino Plant Hire can provide a truly nationalized turnkey service when it comes to the hire of 20-40 Ton Excavators, Hydraulic Hammers, Front End Loaders, JCB TLBs and Abnormal Transport.

We are a team of properly trained, highly skilled and reliable operators- and we practice the philosophy of “One machine, One operator” to ensure that our operators look after their machines and keep them well maintained.
In addition, they have a well-equipped team of qualified field service mechanics who are able to respond quickly in the event of a breakdown. Communication is essential in this field and as predominantly female management in a male-dominated industry they have all developed close relationships as a team which enables them to effectively communicate with each other and therefore ensure a quicker response to customer needs.
